My three website picks

The Lost Worlds Fairs

http://lostworldsfairs.com/

I love the theme of this project, to highlight one feature of HTML in three exciting ways. Try resizing your browser while viewing any of the three examples to experience the dynamic nature of each interface.

Design made in Germany

These Germans sure are impressive. This design portrays a clean aesthetic with clever accents that changes as you scroll. This sort of attention to detail always inspires me to view source and see the magic behind the markup.

Mulheres Barbadas

I believe this portfolio site achieves a good balance between creativity and usability leaving the user with an interactive and tangible interface while still providing high quality content.

HTML Head elements

Please read this article containing a complete guide to the elements you may find inside the head of your document. Keep in mind that while not all of these elements are required, or even frequently used, they are available and may aid you in your projects.

HTML Demo

Attached are files required for an in class exercises.

First we will complete an example, then an in class challenge. For the challenge there is a screenshot of how the html document should render as well as a text description of the HTML code for you to use as reference if you get stuck.

For this excercise, create a folder on your flash drive called “Formatting Demo” for you to save your work.
